Osaka is very fun.

Area information

Osaka is truly a place where you can eat until you can eat no longer. In addition to the delicious foods, the city offers plenty of unique places to see. Located in the center of the Kansai region, it also offers excellent access to Kyoto, Kobe, and more.

Dotonbori Glico sign

Two stations (12 minutes) from Cocode Plus by train

Everyone knows about this famous Osaka Minami landmark. The Dotonbori Glico sign was revamped for the 5th time on October 23, 2014. The background changes and lights up from 30 minutes after sunset until midnight.

Osaka Castle

Two stations (28 minutes) from Cocode Plus by train

Osaka Castle Tower is open from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm (admission until 4:30 pm). Opening hours are sometimes extended to 7:00 pm during the April sakura season, Golden Week, summer vacation, and special exhibitions in autumn.

Shinsekai

Four stations (14 minutes) from Cocode Plus by train

Shinsekai—found near Tsutenkaku, the symbol of Osaka—is the most chaotic and deep district in Osaka. The large signs, gaudy neon, and cheerful employees inviting customers in all come together to truly give you a taste of the world of Osaka. Shinsekai is also full of casual gourmet restaurants that offer delicious food at reasonable prices—including many well-known cutlet skewer and octopus ball restaurants.

Two stations (9 minutes) from Cocode Plus by train

Kuromon Market, located in Nihonbashi, is known as the "kitchen" of Osaka, as it is crammed full of stores selling fresh fish, vegetables, fruit, meat, and more. With an average of 23,000 visitors per day on weekdays, the secret to its popularity is that visitors can walk around while eating delicious food.

(c) Osaka Convention & Tourism Bureau

Two stations (18 minutes) from Cocode Plus by train

Kyocera Dome Osaka is a multipurpose domed baseball stadium and combined leisure facility located in the Nishi Ward of Osaka. It is the home stadium of the Orix Buffaloes, a professional Pacific League baseball team.

Kyoto sightseeing

60 minutes by train from cocode plus to Kyoto station

Kyoto is a worldwide tourist area. Travelers can visit many famous temples within Kyoto, such as Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Kinkaku-ji Temple. We recommend the Arashiyama and Kibune areas for their natural beauty, or the Gion area if you want to walk around town.

Natural hot springs Nobeha no Yu

One station (11 minutes) from Cocode Plus by train

Our staff unanimously recommend "Nobeha no Yu Tsuruhashi," a natural hot spring. There is so much to enjoy that you will not see it all even if you send the whole day there. The many different types of baths are great when you feel weary from traveling. It also offers a full dining menu. It is open from 9:00 am until 2:00 am (admission until 1:00 am; Yakuseki Hanjunbo admission until midnight). It is open every day of the year.
